A rare Egypt Pharaoh Isis.This guitar was made in 1985 in the Egypt Guitars factory in Glasgow. It was top of the range at the time. The range consisted of two guitar models.. the Isis and the reverse-body Osiris. and two bass guitar models.. the Nefertiti Bass and Nofretiti Fretless Bass (sad but true!). All models were made in 3 designations of body timbers.. finish and hardware.

The "Karnak" range was the "no frills" basic hardware model with all mahogany or ash body/maple neck construction.. and basic electrics using Schaller pickups. The base model of our range was available in a matt mahogany finish or pearlescent blue.. black or white.. although we did also manufacture some custom colour examples.

 The "Luxor" was the midrange model with multi-laminated neck and body.. available in a variety of finishes with custom made pickups married to passive electrics.

Lastly the "Pharaoh" range as evidenced here had elaborate timber tops.. usually highly figured.. ebony fingerboards with pyramid fingerboard inlays and custom designed and manufactured pickups and active electronics. More to come soon with a dedicated website. Watch this space!
